Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran is attracting significant attention from some of football’s biggest clubs, with Real Madrid joining the likes of PSG, West Ham, and Al Nassr in the race for the Colombian forward. The 21-year-old has seen his valuation soar to £80m following a blistering start to the season, making him one of the most sought-after talents in Europe.

Aston Villa’s High Price Tag for Duran

Aston Villa initially valued Duran at £40m just six months ago, a price that deterred West Ham at the time. However, after a string of impressive performances, the Premier League club has doubled their asking price to £80m.

West Ham reignited their pursuit with a £57m bid earlier this month, which was quickly rejected by Villa. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested, although neither club has officially met Villa’s valuation.

Real Madrid’s Interest in Jhon Duran

According to reports from Foot Mercato, Real Madrid are seriously considering making a move for Duran. The reigning La Liga and Champions League winners already boast a formidable attacking lineup featuring Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Kylian Mbappe, and Jude Bellingham. However, they lack a traditional centre-forward following the departures of Karim Benzema and Joselu.

Brazilian teenager Endrick is currently the closest player Madrid have to fill that role, but the club has no intention of loaning him out this month.

PSG and Al Nassr in the Mix

Paris Saint-Germain have been active in the transfer market, signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli while sending Randal Kolo Muani on loan to Juventus. Luis Enrique, PSG’s manager, has expressed openness to adding a natural striker like Duran to his system.

Despite the interest from European heavyweights, reports suggest Duran’s preference is to move to the Saudi Pro League, with Al Nassr leading that charge.

Could Duran Leave Europe?

Jhon Duran’s meteoric rise has made him one of the most exciting transfer stories of the season. Will he choose the glitz of Real Madrid, the ambition of PSG, or the financial pull of Al Nassr?
