  • Kylian Mbappé scores twice as Real Madrid recover from an early setback.
  • Brahim Díaz and Rodrygo also find the net in an emphatic victory.
  • Carlo Ancelotti silences critics with a spirited performance from his side.

Real Madrid produced a commanding display at the Santiago Bernabéu, coming from behind to defeat Las Palmas 4-1 and reclaim the top spot in La Liga.

Fabio Silva stunned the home crowd by scoring just 26 seconds into the match, a nightmare start for Carlo Ancelotti, who has faced mounting pressure in the Spanish media. However, Madrid responded with style, showcasing their attacking prowess and resilience.

How the Game Unfolded

Kylian Mbappé leveled the scores from the penalty spot after Rodrygo was brought down in the area. The French superstar was instrumental throughout, with his electric pace and clinical finishing proving too much for Las Palmas to handle.

Mbappé’s influence continued as he played a crucial role in Real’s second goal. Following an aggressive challenge by Juanma Herzog, Mbappé’s shot forced a save from Jasper Cillessen, with the rebound falling to Lucas Vázquez. Vázquez set up Brahim Díaz for a simple tap-in, giving Madrid a deserved lead.

Three minutes later, Mbappé struck again, curling Rodrygo’s pass into the top corner with stunning precision. The goal drew an emotional celebration from Ancelotti, who looked to the director’s box with a triumphant fist pump.

Rodrygo added a fourth late on, finishing Fran García’s low cross with a composed strike into the bottom corner. Las Palmas’ frustration boiled over when Benito received a straight red card for a high challenge on Lucas Vázquez, leaving the visitors down to ten men.

Madrid Player Performances

David Alaba made a welcome return as a second-half substitute after recovering from a torn ACL, while Dani Ceballos ran the show in midfield with a stellar performance.
