Transfer Rumours: Garnacho’s Future, Vinicius Jr. €350m Bid & More

The football transfer window continues to heat up with dramatic stories and unexpected twists. From Alejandro Garnacho’s uncertain future at Manchester United to a record-breaking bid for Vinicius Junior, here are the latest transfer updates and rumours.

Garnacho’s Manchester United Exit Hits a Roadblock

Napoli has reportedly withdrawn from pursuing Alejandro Garnacho due to Manchester United’s steep £70m asking price.
The 19-year-old’s preferred destination remains Chelsea rather than heading to Serie A contenders. If United manage to secure £60m for Garnacho, they could use the funds to invest £180m in new signings this summer while staying within Premier League financial fair play limits.

Liverpool Eyeing Replacement for Salah

Liverpool is exploring an ambitious plan to replace Mohamed Salah by involving Federico Chiesa in a swap deal for Real Sociedad forward Takefusa Kubo. This strategic move could lower the cost of triggering Kubo’s €60m (£50.7m) release clause.

Arsenal, meanwhile, has turned its attention to RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko. The Gunners are reportedly ready to spend £59m but may increase their bid to secure the player in January rather than waiting for summer.

Record €350m Bid for Vinicius Jr.

Vinicius Junior

Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli has stunned the football world with a proposed €350m (£296m) offer for Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior. If accepted, it would become the largest transfer fee in football history.

Barcelona is also busy in the market, preparing a three-man summer shortlist, including Nico Williams, Samu Aghehowa, and Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen. However, Real Madrid may compete with Barca for Huijsen, who has impressed scouts in recent months.

Major Moves Across Europe

  • Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker has agreed to join AC Milan on loan, with the Serie A side covering his full salary.
  • Bayern Munich’s Vincent Kompany has set his sights on Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Florian Wirtz, though the Bavarian giants may face stiff competition from Real Madrid and Manchester City.
  • Chelsea has entered the race to sign Southampton youngster Tyler Dibling, with the Saints valuing the 18-year-old at £55m. Tottenham, Aston Villa, and RB Leipzig are also in the hunt for his signature.
  • Rangers forward Rabbi Matondo is close to joining Coventry City, with Kieran Dowell, Cyriel Dessers, and Adam Devine also linked to potential exits from Ibrox.
