Juventus Enters the Race for PSG Forward
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani in the January transfer window has become more complicated with Serie A powerhouse Juventus reportedly making a strong push for the French striker.
Kolo Muani, who joined Paris Saint-Germain in a €90m deal during the summer of 2023, has struggled to find his footing under manager Luis Enrique. The forward has been made available for a January transfer, with multiple clubs, including United and Spurs, exploring loan arrangements.
Juventus Takes the Lead
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus has identified Kolo Muani as their top target for the winter transfer window and is prepared to act decisively to secure his signature. The Italian club has previously shown interest in other strikers like West Ham’s Niclas Füllkrug and Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee but has shifted focus to Kolo Muani.
Juventus is confident they can convince the 26-year-old to join their ranks, and negotiations are reportedly advancing swiftly as the club aims to outpace rivals United and Spurs.
PSG Preparing for Life After Kolo Muani
PSG is actively seeking a replacement before finalizing Kolo Muani’s departure. Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, also a target for Manchester United, and Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku are among their preferred options. Once PSG secures a new forward, they are expected to green-light Kolo Muani’s exit.
Competition Heats Up
Both United and Spurs are still in the race for the talented striker, who could provide a significant boost to their respective attacks. However, Juventus’ determination and quick action may leave the Premier League sides scrambling to keep up.
