Liverpool winger Luis Diaz has publicly called on the club to secure a contract extension for Mohamed Salah, whose future remains uncertain as his current deal is set to expire at the end of the season.

The 32-year-old Egyptian has been in sensational form this campaign, contributing 37 goal involvements in just 25 Premier League matches (23 goals, 14 assists). “I’ve said it before. They are super important for us. It’s up to the club, but hopefully, they’ll stay because what they bring to the team is impressive. What they have done, what they have won. They don’t settle for little.”

Highlighting Salah’s elite mentality and dedication, Diaz added:

“Mo is a player who is always trying to improve, he is always assisting and scoring, and he’s happy. Whether they leave on a high note or stay to make history, I’m glad to be sharing these moments with them.”
