Will Harry Kane Return to the Premier League?
Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has dismissed recent transfer speculation linking him with a move back to the Premier League, despite reports suggesting that his contract includes release clauses.
Since leaving Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, the England captain has been in phenomenal form, netting 71 goals in 73 appearances for the Bavarian giants. However, with details emerging about potential cut-price release clauses, rumors have surfaced about a possible return to Manchester United, Liverpool, or even Spurs.
Harry Kane’s Release Clause Sparks Speculation
Last week, reports revealed that Kane’s contract included a £66.5m exit clause last summer, while a £54m release clause could see him leave in 2026. With these figures much lower than his initial transfer fee, speculation has been intensifying over a potential move back to England.
Kane Responds to Transfer Rumors
After scoring a brace in Bayern’s 3-0 victory over Werder Bremen, Kane was asked about his future at the Allianz Arena. The 31-year-old responded briefly:
“I don’t want to talk about that. What I can say is that I am very happy at FC Bayern.”
Despite his incredible individual performances, Kane has yet to win a major trophy in his career. However, Bayern currently lead the Bundesliga with a dominant +46 goal difference, putting him on course to finally secure silverware.

Bayern Munich remains in contention for the Champions League, but their DFB-Pokal hopes ended with a loss to Bayer Leverkusen. If Kane lifts a trophy this season, speculation regarding a Premier League return could grow stronger.
