Garnacho Linked with Potential Chelsea Move
Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has emerged as a transfer target for Chelsea, with reports suggesting the Argentina international might be available this summer. Garnacho’s agents, Carlos Cambeiro and Quique de Lucas, were seen attending Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge on Monday, fueling speculation of an imminent move.
While Chelsea appear eager to secure Garnacho’s signature, Serie A giants Napoli have also entered the race. The winger’s valuation, reportedly around £65m, has attracted attention across Europe.
Chelsea Prepare Fresh Approach

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea are set to submit a new bid for Garnacho, viewing him as a valuable addition to their attacking lineup. The Blues had previously shown interest in the player back in December, with discussions even hinting at a potential swap deal involving Mykhailo Mudryk.
Despite Garnacho falling out of favor under Manchester United’s new head coach Ruben Amorim, the Red Devils are not actively looking to sell him. However, the club recognizes the financial opportunity of selling the academy graduate, who initially joined United for £420,000 from Atletico Madrid in 2020.
Napoli’s Interest in Garnacho
Napoli, who recently sold Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain for £59.1m, are also keen on Garnacho. However, meeting the £65m price tag may pose a challenge for the Serie A side. They are expected to make a formal bid soon, potentially intensifying the competition for Garnacho’s signature.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea remain optimistic about their chances, given Garnacho’s potential and the London club’s ability to meet United’s financial demands.
