Milan Express Interest in Felix
AC Milan have reportedly contacted Chelsea over the possibility of signing Joao Felix. The 23-year-old forward joined Chelsea permanently in the summer for £46.3m after spending the latter half of the 2022/23 season on loan from Atletico Madrid.
However, Felix has struggled to establish himself under Enzo Maresca, starting only three Premier League games this season. Instead, he has featured more prominently in cup competitions, leaving his role at the club uncertain.
Milan’s Plans and Chelsea’s Stance
Milan, keen to bolster their attacking options, have turned their attention to Felix after facing challenges in their pursuit of Marcus Rashford from Manchester United. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Rossoneri have initiated discussions with Chelsea about a potential deal for the Portuguese international.
Chelsea, however, have made it clear they are not interested in a loan move for Felix. With his contract running until 2030 and a one-year extension clause included, the Blues are likely to demand a substantial fee should Milan wish to secure the player permanently.
Chelsea’s Transfer Buzz
Felix isn’t the only Chelsea player linked with a possible exit:
- Tosin Adarabioyo: The centre-back is reportedly on Brighton & Hove Albion’s radar.
- Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall: The £30m summer signing has played just 55 minutes in the Premier League and is available for transfer.
- Axel Disasi: The French defender continues to attract interest from clubs across Europe.
- Christopher Nkunku: The forward, signed from RB Leipzig, is a target for Bayern Munich despite being a recent arrival at Stamford Bridge.
Felix’s Future in the Balance
As Chelsea navigate a transitional phase under Maresca, Felix’s limited role has sparked questions about his long-term future. Whether AC Milan can meet Chelsea’s demands remains to be seen, but their interest highlights Felix’s enduring appeal as one of Europe’s most exciting talents.
