“I’ve never been concerned about image rights. I only cared about receiving my agreed salary. I never realized something was wrong, nor was I notified of any investigation,” the 65-year-old told the court.

He further explained that he had entrusted a British financial adviser with handling the matter and was unaware of any issues at the time.
